In this episode, Stan goes looking for some legendary gold after nearly dying.

I don't blame Roger's co-worker for not falling for his baiting...augh 'she' looked attrocious.

Anybody else got a hoot out of the whole 'Epiphany' joke. I really didn't see it coming :p

The highlights for me were Stan giving the finger (twice) to the family and cameramen after finding the gold, Stan's last line asserting his authority to Hayley and Steve, and re-doing the fake "discovering the hidden gold for the first time" lines. "A-U! Get it? The scientific symbol for gold!"

Roger's subplot didn't do much for me except the finale when he kept re-entering the boss's office as both the sexual harasser and the harassee.

Stan learns that he must sacrifice his own wants over his family and ends up giving up what he thought was preicous for what he knows in his heart to be the right thing" epiosdes really don't... do anything for me anymore. Say what you will about King Of The Hill, The Simpsons, or Family Guy, but any other Animation Domination series dosen't recycle the same character learning the same moreal in 90% of all they're shows. They diversify it up some, which really isn't the case with AD. So I really couldn't care about Stan giving up gold to survive and help out his family. And in truth none of the piercing jokes with Hayley (the one in the future was one of those disturbing things you try not to remember) or Steve's robot girlfriend pot were really any funny I think I saw like any kind of joke coming with them just hearing the synopsis since they're such base problems made for the whole Stan plot. In fact the only really good bits of the Stan plot was the Schoolhouse Rock esc song about Oliver North's gold, Greg and Terry doing coverage of Stan's digging, and the muddy middle fingers. Everything else didn't really get much of a chuckle from me from that plot. The Roger plot faired a bit better since at least the ending wasn't predictable (Roger actually gets a settlement and has the money and just won't give any to Klaus for uncomterable reasons in the kind of joke that might of worked better on FG actually) and the idea of Roger playing the vicitm and the abuser was sort of funny. Otherwise not much to laugh at from this AD. Hope the season finale is better then what we got here.

If ever there was a scene that did not deserve to be censored, this was it.:D The fact that he went back for seconds was the icing on the cake.

I thoroughly enjoyed this episode, especially the main plot about the gold. Roger's subplot was bit mundane, I mean, we've seen him try and extort money before, so why do we need to see it again? Anyway, the School House Rock parody was genius, and totally unexpected. I wonder if Matt Groening was watching that? I think he'd appreciate it as well.

Once again, the winner of the evening, 8.5/10

The double bird-flip was definitely the unexpected big laugh of the episode. The Schoolhouse Rock spoof was hilarious and well done. The Roger subplot wasn't much, but still funny especially with Roger discussing his check to Klaus.

Another fun episode. 9/10
