American Dad - "Home Adrone" - Talkback [10/11]

I enjoyed this way more than the Family Guy episode. It was interesting and had a few good laughs. (Didn't laugh at all from the Family Guy episode. =/)

I especially was amused by the part where they end up at the sorority house and Steve said "Wow, this game must be from Japan!" and Toshi responded with something like "Unlikely. Those are women, not underage schoolgirls."

I also found the sheer randomness of the drone landing on a squirrel to be hilarious.

Another high-quality episode. Last week's was slightly better but it was still top-notch.

Best line of the night:

Snot: So you have the house all to yourself? Like, overnight? Wow!
Barry: Like I did when I was a baby!

Not many laughs on American Dad this week. It was close, but sad to say AD was the worst show of the bunch.

I guess at this point I shouldn't get my hopes up when a potential Hayley plot rears its head. I loved the part on the plane when the man behind the Smiths told Francine to control his kid (Roger dressed up as a little girl at the time), and Fran, Hayley, and Roger all told him off in sequence. From then on, though... not sure what happened. I guessed I got back into it when that safety agent suddenly demanded that he'd kill one child every half hour until Roger (the girl) reappeared.

Not sure much went down on Steve's plot, either. Man of the house lets his friends in, they play a game in which they take control of a real drone plane and end up wrecking it, Stan returns and finds out... you know, now that I think about it, the only thing that I really found funny about the whole incident was Stan's fight in the parade. Because apparently CIA training is equivalent to women's self-defense class.

And also put me in the camp of 'what was the purpose of the squirrels?'
