Broadcast Order: Season 5, Episode 14
Production Order: Season 5, Episode 6

Writer: Erik Durbin
Director: Tim Parsons

A new episode airs tonight at 9:30 PM Eastern. Here is the synopsis:

It would be great if Roger actually kept his job as a cop for a while. It would lead to some fantastic stories, and some continuity which is always welcome (and currently happening with Haley/Reginald).

A future episode has a plot involving Roger learning about crime scene investigation photography, so he might actually be keeping this cop job, hopefully.

Great episode :anime:
My favorite parts are Roger exploding the kitchen XD,The elbow smash scene was awesome, also nice to hear "You Got The Touch"

I don't think it was a reference to anything. Why would any live-action movie have a head squish that cartoony? It was just there to be hilarious and it succeeded.

And thank goodness it did, because otherwise this would have been a laugh-free night.

Huh, I thought American Dad no longer had any more episodes this season.

Ah well, this was an awesome episode. Loved the reveal after the commercial break that Roger actually blew up part of the kitchen, the usage of the Touch, him actually not watching the Police Academy movies, continued subplots between Hayley and Reginald, and of course the most epic Elbow Smash of all time.

"...Well that was unexpected". I think Roger said what we were all thinking at that moment. Wow, the constant replays and slow motion just really sent that bit over the top!

Defintley the most solid episode of the night due to it being fully structured (an aspect of American Dad the other Animation Domination shows can't really claim) and having a more interesting plot. I prefer episodes that don't focus on Stan and have him more to the side or actually act reasonable since it shows he isn't just a Peter/Homer clone. As well as let someone else have to learn a lesson. In this case Roger trying to buff up to be a tough cop (I was kind of surpirsed they didn't make any comments to how he was able to buff up over the course of just a montage. Usually AD can be clever about those little meta gags that refrence things like that) and then letting power corrupt him and giving his ex partner and epic elbow smash (I don't know about humorous, but that was a serious wow factor that I haven't felt about that show or a lot of animated programs for awhile actually so props for that). Other good jokes include Francinne and Roger planning for a shopping trip, Roger doing his own sound effects for his dream sequence, Roger trying to make friends at the Police Academy, Bullock trying to guess what stan has to tell him, and at the end where Roger asks if the guy he elbow smashed was okay. I also liked the Reginald/Hayley plot. THough I missed Reginald's inital appearence it's obvious it was a plot about two people who had fallen in love/like before but had tried moving on, and clearly couldn't do that due to being so well made for each other. Yeah sure it's a Koala but if Brian can get dates with all sorts of human girls in FG, I don't think that matters as much here. Besides she connects with Reginald geuinenley, a lot more then any other guy we've seen her with. So yeah good ep and defintley the highlight of this Animation Domination.

I wonder: If I elbow someone on the top of the head, will that happen?

Gosh, I missed this show. Now that I think about it, it's time for me to rewatch the entire series again. Yay!

Just to be clear, its a homeless person in a koala body (Like Klaus is a Russian in a fish body). I think the homeless person was promised a free meal in return for using his body in a government test, which is how he ended up as a koala.
