You have to laugh when you see how the portrayal of American colleges has changed over the years.
With Animal House, Porkys and others there were average looking girls wearing jumpers, maybe some cheerleading pom poms and expeditions to either sneak into the girls dorm or find a convenient spy hole through to the shower block. Parties were about sitting on the floor, stretching out half a bottle of vodka and then blowing chunks.
Now with the likes of American Pie and anything by Michael Bay, the dorms are all co-ed, the girls, although super hot are incredibly friendly, particularly to nerRAB and they have always moved in quickly enough on the first day that they happen to pass the arriving new blokes in the hall wearing only a towel as they go and grab a quick shower.
Maybe this is because they are preparing themselves for the frat parties that as well as having unlimited beer and spirits and countless good time girls that just "wanna pardy" have sound and lighting rigs that would shame an Ibiza nightclub.
