If I live in another country and own a business there, what information do I have to provide to the IRS and US government about my finances and living arrangements?
If I paid taxes in the country I live in, do I still pay taxes in the US? I believe the county has double taxation agreements with the United States.
If my business is incorporated in another country, but earns income all over the world, does the US need to know anything about my business if I am a US citizen?
If the tax rate is lower in the other country than it would be in the US, what happens? Do I have to pay the difference?
This is a long and complicated question, but I appreciate anyone who can shed some light on this situation. Thanks.
