watched american beauty last night, and thought the music was a bit familiar...was it that jakarta and seal tune that was out recently?

also, was it just me, or did the *back to the future* music pop up in the battle scene in the two towers?

ah - ok. was it out before the film then, and it was just used in the film? its just watching it, it seemed like the film's score.

just curious like. i ain't starting no trouble....

see - to me there's sampling, and then there's well, just taking another piece of music and slapping another name on it.

oh well - it was just bugging me where i'd heard it before - i remember it being out ages ago now - and c4/e4 used to advertise last year's series of ER.

iain: Jakatta's version is slightly differnt so does come under more sampling it than just ripping it off. Although tbh I perfer the movie score
