Yeah, no middle aged dude in good shape can run 27 MPH. No human being, ever, has ever been able to maintain a speed even close to that for miles like Grizzlies can. Including, I might mention, their cubs who were running with their mothers. A grizzly running at 30 MPH is not an outlier like the sprinter you are talking about is.

Well, 3 of the them were Grizzlies, so I'm guessing a large nuraber of those other 20 weren't Grizzlies (Black Bears, Brown Bears, etc).

Since we were (I thought) only talking about Grizzlies, they really aren't relevant to the discussion.
