So many of the videos today and the stories I hear from America seems to suggest that not everyone can get their say in what they want or to be able to voice their demands in public. Videos which I have seen show that America seems to be stuck in the dark ages of white and wealthy driven politics and a class system that is far from fair, those which I see to be at a big disadvantage are 1) Students 2) Black middle class or academics 3) ethnic groups together with black people or immigrants, the lack of help for people living in New Orleans for example is simply disgraceful. I have also been appalled by the violence that was shown towards the sudent at John Kerry's speech and the Tibet march arrests.I ask myself if this injustice is because of a lack of minority political representation?...how do americans envisage the future of America in terms of free rights? Is america becoming increasingly tailored to serve the needs of the white middle class? Why arent there more black politicians?
