America at War?

I feel like such a bad citizen for asking, but why is our country at war. What are we fighting for? Does it have to do w. 911 ?

We are not at war. We are caught in the middle of a civil war between the Sunni & the shiites. Of course, that's because of a major white house blunder by creating a power vacuum after Saddam. The post war plans were a complete disaster.

you should feel like such a bad citizen for not knowing .No we are not fighting over 9/11 it is just that the president of the united states (who is not qualified for his job,no matter what anyone says) was being greedy and decided to make up a story that there were hidden nuclear weapons in Iraq (which there aren't) just so that he could steal some oil. Which is currently very expensive in case you haven't noticed oil is at 130$ a barrel and isn't going to get any cheaper. Get ready to pay about 6$ a gallon for gas in about 3 years.
