Amazing custom bike

If I had the money I'd take the vyrus before the Desmosedici any day. I'd probably take the Bimota 3D before an R bike for that matter. I watched a net documentary on the new Bimota recently, the attention to detail is unbelievable.

I better hope for a lottery winning before I continue that thought though.

Vyrus 985 C3Vyrus is a small, exclusivist Italian motorcycle manufacturer based in Rimini, Italy.

The Vyrus (Motorcycle) initially worked alongside Bimota on the evolutionary development of Bimota's "Tesi" motorcycle.

The "Tesi" meaning 'Thesis' in Italian, and with its origins as a university engineering project linked to Massimo Tamburini.

The Tesi design was easily distinguished by the use of its Hub-center steering front suspension arrangement.

Vyrus split from the Bimota and completed the first evolution of the Tesi's development, marketing the bike under their own name.

Currently Vyrus have two models: 984 C3 2V (using a Ducati sourced 2 valve, air-cooled engine) and 985 C3 4V (again, with a Ducati sourced 4 valve, water-cooled engine); both with a displacement of almost 1000 cm

so to clear everything up, the bikes are one off custom made, the vyrus is a custom bike made for each person different. This customer chose the paint scheme and the motor as a DS NCR motor pumped out to a 1300CC. Paint scheme is his choice also, it is a great bike! He also was the one at the show with the Carbon Dream Mike Hailwood and the MV 312R (1of 9)

thanks for the details nick. I was pretty sure it was a one off, but most just think it's a bimota tesi. I must have missed his carbon dream though.
