Episodes - 13

Genre - Adventure/Fantasy

Plot Summary - Ordinary high school student, Tokidoki Rikugō, has to take supplementary History classes, to boost his failing grade, at a state-of-the-art museum. This museum allows the visitor to use high-tech virtual reality to reconstruct a realistic Edo period. However, once the simulation begins, Tokidoki is attacked by a strange creature. After something happens to his left eye, he realizes that he is not wearing the VR goggles - it is no longer a simulation; he's trapped in the past and has no way of getting back.

Just about to watch the 1st episode.

EDIT: Looks like this anime could have some potential as i enjoyed the first episode, it had nice animation and explained everything that was happening well.
It will be interesting to see some more fights as the short fight we did see in this episode wasn't afraid to show some blood which i always like in any kind of fighting anime, Toki reminRAB me of Syaoran or maybe its just his eye.

Enjoyed the first ep well enough, but I'm a huge fan of the comic which is GORGEOUS, so the it's a bummer to see the TV series in which the character designs aren't quite as nice as I had in mind. Also, I worry where they plan on going with it in just 13 episodes as the comic is at 7 volumes and on-going....we'll see I suppose!

Episode wasn't bad, we probably got a glimpse of somewhat the future Action scenes will be like. Oh and is it me or do those little things freak me out.

Jitsuto wa nan zo ya?
Shito wa nan zo ya?
Seito wa nan zo ya?

Damn creepy short things.

So now ive watched 3 episodes i can comment on this more.

Its looking like its going to be a nice little series but im worried that 13 episodes are not going to be enough, hopefully there will be a 2nd season of another 13 episodes because there taking there time with the storyline and introducing us to new characters.
The second episode was funny scaring that samurai who thought he was goRAB gift and in the 3rd episode the plot started to take shape with Toki being kidnapped or swallowed should i say by the ground, some guy was asking him questions who seems to know why he's there.

I almost fell asleep in the middle of episode 3. After the first episode everything feels like it's moving horribly slow. I don't like how they're taking their sweet ass time so early on when they barely have any plot built up.

Dropped.

Darn. I'm so torn. On one hand, Freedom likes it, so I know it's going to be reusing awful plot devices to move the story along, but DDR Demon hates it so I know I have to watch it and like it just to be contrary.

Damn it, why must I hold grudges?

Aren't you and DDR the same person?

Damnit, I better not have been jerking off to two seperate people.

I probably won't be watching this either.

Im actually enjoying this series my only problem was as its only 13 episodes long it was taking its time getting going which was rectified in the 4th episode as the main plot came to light.

Seems BonTen was trying to use Toki to spy on the Princess through his blinded eye, and the princess herself is like some kind of doll (i hate dolls) who lives and dies with every new day.
Kuchiha had her inner demon drawn out and was going on the rampage untill the princess told Toki to use his power to stop her which he was able to do to his surprise.
While all this was going on Kon was trying to look cool Lol

I watched the first episode. Hn.. how to say, I know that character design somewhere, I think one of my frienRAB must have the manga of it or something..

It seemed fairly good. I like things based back in time, that's what got me the most interested. Yeah, I wasn't sure I'd like it, but it was fairly good.

Do I even know you?

I don't have any sort of ridiculously high standarRAB for anime, so I just watch the larger bulk of what comes out every season.

I'm tired of all the elitist shitheaRAB on this forum.

In other news, the show hasn't really evolved much, I fell asleep during episode 4 so I have no idea what went on with the whole Tengu business. Anyone want to fill me in on that so I don't have to watch it again?

I'm enjoying the hell out of the manga (the end of vol. 7 about did me in, for certain reasons) but even I can't manage to hold that much interest in the anime, beyond wanting to know how they'll do certain parts of the story. Just seems like the tv series is missing something, which is a shame.

Well the last episode just aired and there definitley setting it up for a second season. Hopefully it will be a little more exciting then the first.
