am not able to activate Vodafone live(GPRS) in my new micromax Q5?

i have installed the configuration settings from my service provider and when i try to open a browser or gtalk or any messenger i have ..it is throwing an error failed connect..

does this phone supports internet or not ?

Please can any one advice me how to access the internet apps
