I want to know if you would find me worthy of being a cook after learning how to cook using the method following the link. If so, would you trust me to cook if you had a restaurant? I really really want to learn how to cook, but here is my way of learning how. Seeing that I am no cook expert, will you approve of my way of learning?(I assume you are an expert cooker)

Here is a look at the game(please click on the trailer to see a short video of how it works)

If you are just learning to cook, and are good at using the game device so you don't lose your place, it is a good starting point. There are some problems with it, though - but not many. First, when cooking foods, there is splashing, blood, water, oil, etc. that could get onto and into the device.

I did watch the trailer and saw that it will go to a detail level. I wasn't sure if it explained not only how to do a step but why you are doing it - which is very important. If you don't know why you are doing that step, you don't learn how to apply it to other recipes.

But, I can see it in a person's kitchen and it will help one make a recipe.

I wouldn't trust you to cook in a restaurant until you got to the point where you made recipes without help from any device or cookbook. That's where lots of training comes in.

That is a good starting point, though. That or a paper cookbook or online recipes - but remember, why you are doing what you are doing is very important or you can't apply it to other recipes.

Hope that helps.
