Am I weird to think that Axe smells better than Expensive Cologne?

Whenever I go out, I get complimented on my 'smell' when I wear Axe

..but whenever I wear an expensive $80 cologne like "Diesel" or "Giorgio Armani" people dont really say anything.

Why is it that a $5 body spray smells better than a $80 cologne bottle?

Same with my friend, he hates Axe but when he wears it he always gets a compliment.I have not clue why It doesn't get beaten by an expensive cologne.

Because the companies that produce the expensive stuff try too hard. I love Axe and all that stuff. And Curve for men. The original. Not all that fruity girly smelling crap. Oh and in my Avon demo book a couple of campaigns back they have this newer cologne called Iron Man or something like that that smells amazing. I want to order it for my husband but he won't wear it.

Maybe you just wear too much cologne. its heavy.

I mean Axe smells good on a guy...but some colognes are yummier.
