By boyfriend asked me to pick out some rings that I like to "give him an idea", lol. Some of the ones I've found are really simple & don't cost very much, (according to other rings i've looked at). My question really...I know at least the first one isn't even labeled as an "engagement ring" but I would love them for an engagement ring. Am I weird or...expecting too little for liking something this simple...should I be wanting something more because I know the "etiquette" says a man is supposed to spend 2-3 months salary on an engagement ring or something from what I have heard. And he definitely could afford more than that, but this is what I find myself drawn to. I've just had different people tell me different things about "engagement ring etiquette". I know I'm wording this weird. Sorry. lol. Not a huge deal or anything, but it was just on my mind. I'm definitely going to show him these 2 pictures. But any thoughts anyone?? Thank you
