Sure this is coming from a Knick fan so it is going to be very bias since I want him to come to New York. But I still feel this move for the Nets is insanely stupid. What the heck do they see? They need to open their eyes. Brook Lopez has declined. Richard Hamilton can't even make the rotation for the Pistons. That's all that needs to be said for how much he's declied. Billups is NOTHING close to what he used to be and while he is still an above average guard, I'll take Felton over him the way he's playing. That's it for the Nets. Lopez, Melo, Hamilton, and Billups. That's their core four. Does anyone with any common sense that could possibly have any shot at overtaking the Celtics, Magic, Heat, Hawks, and even Knicks? And they are giving up THEIR ENTIRE FUTURE for this deal. Multiple first round picks and their lottery pick that they were so high on. Why would they possibly give up their future for a deal that might not even allow them to make the playoffs this year. I honestly don't see the purpose in this.
