According to my College's Financial Aid Office, I have been approved for grants and loans; my total amounts awarded equals about $9,100 in financial aid for the 2009-2010 school year, however - I did not go to school for the 1st half of this school year, meaning i will be starting in Jan for the 09-10 school year. My question is, since I was approved (Yesterday) for $9,100 in grants and loans for the total 2009-2010 school year and my 2009-2010 tuition cost is only going to be about $4,300 (because of only going half of the school year) would I be sent a check for the difference of the unused loan funds once my college's financial aid is disbursed?
