I have an iPhone 3G, running iOS 4.2.1 (jailbroken) with baseband 06.15.00 (as installed by redsn0w). I want to pop a T-Mobile SIM card in there in the coming weeks, but I'm a tad confused right now.
I have installed ultrasn0w - as demonstrated here: http://new.clgvn.net/wp-content/uploads/2011/01/IMG_01231.png - but when I look in the "About" area in settings, I notice the carrier still says "AT&T 9.0", as demonstrated here: http://new.clgvn.net/wp-content/uploads/2011/01/IMG_01252.png
I also notice that there's no "Carrier" option when I first launch the Settings app.
What I want to know is that will I still be able to use my T-Mobile SIM successfully?
