a potential family privately wanting to adopt my baby? I heard through the grapevine that I could have food costs as well as maternity clothing costs, not to mention utilities and rent paid for me while I am pregnant. Does anybody know if it is true, because there is an adoption tax credit limit of 10,000$ for families who adopt or so I heard.

If you are the pg Mama...all I can say if you are wanting *compensation* i.e. clothing, utilities paid and rent paid, maybe your nails done too! Why not your car note while your at?.. from the potential adoptive parents...quite frankly...you are SELLING your baby. How f**kin' revolting/disgusting you are!

The tax credit is for the adoptive family to help with the cost incurred with the adoption. As there are many legal fees to be paid. It has nothing to do with the one placing the child for adoption. The only things they sometimes pay for is medical bills having to do with the baby and the child birth. Some will have the pregnant mother live with them during the pregnancy. They are not responsible for buying you food, clothes and paying your utilities and rent. Sounds more like you want a free ride while you are pregnant.
Financial compensation would be selling your baby which is illegal
