Am I just one of those people who cannot eat fruit?

Maybe its in my ancestry, I'm chinese, and eating fruit just makes me feel tired and it's to much sugar. I was planning to go on the 80/10/10 diet which is basically 80% fruit/10% vegetables/ and the rest fat protein, but now I think I'm just gonna give up on the 1st day. Do you think only certain races are able to tolerate alot of fruit? Afterall, they keep saying that everyone is unique I think it has something to do with ancestry and what they ate as a staple.
