and low dull back ache.? Im 39 weeks pregnant. For the past two days I have suffered from period type cramps- these have come and go but roughly hurt for about 20 odd minutes or so as well as a dull lower back pain.... I have had braxton hicks in this pregnancy which I assumed were the electric type twinges; so I assume they aren't the same thing.
This morning I woke with wet knickers- not soaking but wet and stained light dark brown. I usually wear a pad but I didnt last night.
Had period pains most of the day and I am choosing to ignore this but in the back of my mind I want to know whether to be excited or except that these pains are nothing more than ligaments and baby stretching to get ready.
Please advise xx

Im a little confused still as since this morning my pad hasn't been wet..this suggests my waters haven't broken....also I thought when you had a show there was a mucus substance, where as this morning they were just wet..... Im going to wait till later to get my other halfs opinion before cracking in to action. All your thoughts were really appreciated x
