I'm currently living in Alberta. I have a prior record for a Break & Enter, now I'm going to court to deal with Break of Probation x 4 and Theft Under $5000 x 2. Just curious on the consequences. I was told by my lawyer 30-60 days, but is there anything I can do to get out of going to jail? Would a good pre sentence report help me get out of it? Just curious on what I can expect, any help would be great. Thanks.

Sound like you likely should have thought about Jail and your possibly going there back when they gave you that chance to do the right thing and gave you probation

You are going to jail. Hopefully while there you will learn that well you do not like it in there and Hopefully while there you will learn that you should respect other people and their belongings.
Until you learn about respect though sadly you will keep right on going back and forth to jail.

Good Luck in Jail and Please do yourself a favor and learn a lesson now.
Take it from someone who took a long time learning a lesson Going back and forth is NO fun and starting a legal life late is a real PAIN
trying to get in to school and trying to get a good job after a record is well not fun.

No offence but shouldn't you be worrying about changing your behavour rather than avoiding jail? Sorry to lecture but it sounds like you're not sorry for what you have done and only sorry you got caught.

30-60 days isn't that long, hopefully you'll learn from it and come out a better person... If you were in California you might be looking at 25 years to life, consider yourself lucky and do some thinking please.

Good luck and look after yourself.
