Am I going to jail for insurance reasons?

I have car insurance under my dad's name because I'm still a student. My sister has her own car insurance on her car. I was driving her car when I got a speeding ticket. The cop gave me a ticket for both speeding and not having proof of insurance because the car is registered under my sister. Can I present the court with my insurance (under my dad's name) to clear the insurance charge? Am I going to be put in jail? I live in Colorado. PLEASE HELP
