So on my way to work this morning I noticed a cop on the side of the road with a radar gun. The speed limit on this road is 70 km/h, and when I noticed him I was going around 81 km/h, but at this point I think he was still measuring the speed of the truck in front of me. So I hit the brakes and as I go by him I only managed to bring my speed down to around 77 or 78.
Do you think he got me? A lot of people say they let you go up to ten over the limit, is this true? Even if, I'm not too sure how these radar guns work, could he tell that I was going over 80 when the truck was still in between me and him?
