Ok so to start off I am 16 yrs old. I dedicate almost all my free time playing video games since I was 7 and this never occurred to me. I play fps , rts and mmo types of games along with some other random games sometimes , everyday. Also I've never passed out in my life.
Today I was playing a song on osu! (game) which had a warning at the beginning about flashing images which may cause problems if you have epilepsy. I've played that song many times without problems but today I decided to check something out.
I went to google searching for "epilepsy symptoms". Read a few articles and I've never met any of the symptoms. Then I went to youtube and searched for an epilepsy test. The test was rapid flashing between black and white , I took my eyes away and stopped the vid 2 seconds after it started. Then my vision was blurred for 2 seconds , then I was fine.
This happened at night with no lights around , that might have been the problem , however I don't think so. Again I play video games all the time , and especially in fps games there are alot of things going around and fast screen changing , however I have very good reflexes and response time. If I was epileptic something should've happened in all these years right?
So , do I have epilepcy? I am aware that the small test I did is an inaccurate one and I will check a doctor asap , however I want to hear your thoughts first.
