Am I elegible to remove the conditions of my residency if I am getting financial aid

for college? I happen to be student at a local community college. I applied for financial aid and it was granted to me last semester. Now, I have to remove the conditions of my residency by the end of the present year, and my husband was my sponsor for it. Is the financial aid that I am getting to pay for college affect my application to get the conditions removed from the residency? This is the only help I get, have never applied for anything else. I work part time, study full time, have good grades, and I need the help to keep my head afloat.
