Am I doing it right? At the gym.?

I'm a female, 5'0 tall, 115 lbs. So I joined the gym 2 weeks ago, I "kind of" know what I'm doing but I'm not exactly sure. I'm on a healthy diet that consist of oatmeal, fruits, veggies and lean meat. I go to the gym times a week (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday). Alternating abs, legs, arms and back each day.

So everyday I jog and walk for about 20 minutes, then go and do some aerobics or weight lifting using some machines, 10 reps of 3 sets lifting about 50-70 lbs. Then right after I'm doing intervals on the treadmill by running and stopping every minute each for 10 mintues.

I'm a beginner and I'm just curious at what people actually do when they are at the gym. I come home not feeling satisfied, unless I'm just expecting too much too soon? Exactly how much weight should I lift to lose weight? What's the best way to lose weight and tone up without appearance of bulkiness?

Also I'm looking to get a bigger butt without getting a bigger leg. My calves seems to be very big with a very flat butt.
