Am i doing good with my exercise?

Okay i weight 175 pounds with a height of 6'1.5, 5 times a week i use the treadmill for 30 minutes to lose about 350-400 plus calories. of course their would be some calories burnt through the day with school and times walking around public places. just wondering if this process is good for weight loss exercising. last time i think i dropped 4 pounds about a weeks ago. so yeah
