My husband and I have been blessed with a wonderful life. When we first were married, struggle was always the word of the month... no year!!! Now that he's been promoted and I finally moved up to full-time in my job, we are doing better. My husband is less than 7 days from returning from his third tour of duty in Iraq. For anyone who knows the military, you konw that all money made over there is tax free. Well his family had been well informed of this fact. To cut a long story, his mom called me a month ago wondering where her tax money was. She let me know that every day for a week she went to her box and nothing was n there from me. Apparently my husband was sending her money from our tax return and she couldn't understand why she hadn't received any money this yr.The nerve of this woman. She said she was EXPECTING her tax money and she hadn't gotten it yet. EXPECTING HER TAX MONEY! I have something else she can get. What do I do about this woman before she destroys our marriage!
She calls like she's a bill collector wondering what happened to her payment. We have the futures of two girls to think about and we have never gone on a vacation because he feels guilty for spending the money. When we do visit his family, they clean him out.He is the youngest of ten and they all have baby daddy's or full-time jobs themselves. He informed me that his mom, who no longer works, is in debt. Not only from her doing, but from the mismanagement of the other kids. She lends them her cards and they never pay her back. I feel like my husband is only concerned with the happiness and well-being of is mom and siblings. When we were down and out, my mom helped us buy groceries.I asked if he had any money and he said no. I didn't believe him. In his wallet was $150.I asked what it was for and he said to send to his mom and his brother in prison. He said since I wouldn't give him money, he had to save it. He would rather see his daughter go hungry than let his mom suffer.DIVORCE IS NEAR
