I have like to draw for quite some time now ,and Just recently in the past 4-5 Months i have decided to become a furry ( i like the art and i find it to be a change from being that typical New York teen who parties , Facebook's and clubs all the time ).
My family isn't the most open of minds, so i thought about a month or so back id tell my best friend (Friends For Like 11 Years) , and i told him . He hasn't avoided me . Which makes me feel good that he can be cool with my choices. I think he thinks that i might turn "gay"(Don't Worry Im Not) or into some weird dude that runs around in baggy cloths with ears calling himself a Wolf. When all i do is like the art . I am planing to go to a convention (but he dosnt know) and i want to tell him .
What should i do , cause i don't want him to think i'm some weirdo. Cause nothings changed but he seems to avoid the subject .Can anyone help?
