...serve at closes? I work at a restaurant that closes at 10pm. There is a really rich nightclub next door that doesn't have a parking lot. It is the closest nightclub around and people either have to find limited parking spaces on the street or take a cab or limo. They usually end up parking in our lot even though we usually end up towing them. Since people are parking in the lot anyway, would it be illegal for me to charge money for people to park in the lot after our restaurant closes? They would not be towed as long as they were gone by 5am. Our restaurant does not own the land, we lease, but maybe I could find the owner of the land and split the profits 50/50. If I had his permission, would it be legal? Is that the only way its legal?
 
The restaurant leases the property so for all intents and purposes you need permission from restaurant owner/management not land owner
