Am i allowed to buy camera and laptop in Malaysia to bring Singapore checkpoint?

I want to buy a camera and laptop on JB Malaysia. I am not sure can bring in Singapore checkpoint? I am taking there by a bus. Are they allowed to bring in Singapore, i afraid the police might take it away from me.
