Am I a pear shape or an apple shape?

I've been reading up on body shapes, and I keep waffling back and forth between the apple shape and pear shape. I feel like I try to hide my stomach more than my hips and such, and while I do keep a good bit of weight on my abdomen, I still store a -lot- of weight on my lower half as well. I did that waist-to-hip ratio thing, and that -barely- qualifies me as an apple. What my problem is is that clothing tips for apples include things like highlighting your lower half, which is presumably not as large, when in my case, it's bigger! And on the flip-side, pear tips include showing off a presumably small, well defined waist, which I don't have! So I guess I'm asking: what clothing tips do I follow if I'm just generally fat from the waist down?
