My fiance and I live in a house that was once his grandparents. his father now owns the house and we rent from them the only thing the rent really entails is electricity since we have well water. the house has needed to be insulated since it never was. walls needed to be painted and new flooring.we also had a wall that had mold in it. faince and i replaced it without asking them too. they have payed for most but we have chipped in a lot to help them out . we have done the work ourselves mostly. well she said that she would get the primer and paint for the 3 walls we have left in a bedroom. she had told my fiance that she would prime and paint the walls today so that we could stay on our deadline to have the bedroom done by Nov. 1st since we have also started on the kitchen that is to be done by christmas we both had the day off and we were suppose to paint a bedroom since i had started one wall and finished it with the accent color. i woke up bright and early thinking i'd help her but she never showed up. i called and got told that she went to the casino. everytime they call and ask for help we show up and help. his dad called today and said they are raising our rent too since redoing this old house is more then they thought or we have to pay for all the repairs. i dunno what to do anymore since there is no houses that we can get in our budget and be close to his family. i had also gave up an oporunity to earn some exta dough today thinking we had to paint i dont know what to do anymore should we not help as much or i dunno what to do
