When we start putting into place POSITIVES over the negatives every minute of the day, things start changing. As you see in my posts, I always always smile. Life IS good regardless of our anxiety. One thing you need to remeraber anxiety makes US so much stronger. A lot of us think we're weak and that is not at all the case. If people who don't have anxiety knew what we deal with on a daily basis, we'd be handed an award...lol
We all have so much to be thankful for. Enjoy a nice walk each morning & every evening. Think of the simple things that make you smile while you're walking. Enjoy the views, the fresh air and keep in mind how much better you are going to sleep after taking in all this. When I was at my worst with anxiety my sleep was horrible. I was lucky to get 2 hours a night. Once I started doing some exercises and taking those walks my sleep patterns changed drastically. BECAUSE I changed the negative worrying into doing positive things for myself and the reward I got was lots & lots of sleep. WHICH is exactly what the anxious mind neeRAB. When we get good rest, it eases worry and brings in positives.
I know this sounRAB corny, but this also helped me. As soon as you wake in the morning, get up immediately. DO NOT lay in bed & dwell. NEVER lay in bed & let your thoughts get the best of you. Stretch (very important) & Go take a shower. When you are standing in front of the mirror look yourself in the eyes and remind yourself how beautiful, kind, caring & loving you are. Put on the makeup, do your hair and go spoil yourself with a walk, a new hair cut, get your nails done, whatever it is you need. There comes a time that we need to put ourselves FIRST and this I believe is what anxiety is trying to tell us.
Remeraber not to take yourself so seriously, nobody else does. Thoughts are just that, THOUGHTS. Nothing more. Do not think that anxiety defines who you are. You are not anxiety, you are YOU. SMILE and go take in some sunshine!
