I have an audition in January and I'm planning on playing the alto sax. We must play a short piece or en excerpt for something. I'd love to perform a nice classical piece or a jazz piece. However, I don't want to be bothered about finding an accompanist. Do most sax solos have accompaniment? Are there any solos you know that don't need a accompanist..that's around an intermediate level? Thanks!!
