i bought the truck a few months ago and it ran just fine, the motor is a 351 v8 5.8 ltr. one day i got in it to go to school and it wouldnt turn on, i had a mechanic tell me that it was the alternator, i put a new alternator in but it still wont keep the battery charged, and im 100% sure that its hooked up right. my uncle told me his old ford truck used to do the same thing after he put a new alternator in, so he put a new voltage regulator in and it started working, im not sure but i need some advice from an mechanic that if i buy a new voltage regulator that it would fix the problem. and the battery is brand new, i have already had the bettery checked incase, and it is good
