Ok so my battery is not recharging itself when im driving, and I'm sure its a bad alternator, but my question is: could it possibly be anything else thats making it lose its charge?
ok the car is a 1996 sunfire se with the 2.2l ohv
i got the battery, the alternator, and the starter tested. turned out the starter was "supposedly" bad, so i installed a new one. and still the same problem. i think the guy at advance must have hooked the starter up wrong and that messed it up cause it made some loud a$$ sounds when he turned the machine on.
im not familiarm with all the ground connections, is it possible you can give me a more detailed explanation on what exact grounds and stuff you mentioned
