Since Limewire has shut down, I have been scrambling to find a new way to get free music.
- I have tried Frostwire, but I am very unpleased by their variety.
- I have tried Bearshare which is absolutely INCREDIBLE for downloading free music onto your computer, however they are all in protected WMV files that I cannot transfer to iTunes.
I am aware that you can easily download viruses in software like Limewire and Frostwire, however I am good at dodging viruses and am not concerned with that.
I am basically looking for something that is the caliber of Bearshare (in terms of variety of songs, etc.) but can be transfered to iTunes and ultimately an iPod. It can also be Bearshare or a program like Bearshare and I will still take it if you give me a fairly simple way to convert the WMV files into mp3 to they can go onto iTunes. Help. Me. OUT!
