My fiancee and I have been trying to pare down the cost of our wedding, and one idea that hit me was the possibility of having everyone who has a digital camera bring those to the wedding to take photos, then everyone could upload the photos to Facebook or other such sites for free and we wouldn't have to pay for wedding photos, plus people would have photos themselves. We're only inviting friends and family to our ceremony, so it's not like we'd have random strangers taking pictures of us. What do you guys think about this idea?
Karen C, I have a "cheap" Kodak Easyshare camera that's still 6.2 megapixels and IMO takes great photos. I wouldn't say that most digital cameras are necessarily low-quality--there's a difference between less-expensive digital cameras and even-cheaper disposable cameras, if that's what you're thinking of.
