I am trying to figure out some alternative security options to use on my 2002 Dodge Intrepid that was recently stolen last month a recently recovered a few days ago. I went to dodge and received a estimate for all new locks since the person/s who stole my car still have my keys and remote entry off my key chain. Since I do not have $650 for all new locks what other security things can I purchase to keep my car secure if the thieves stumble on my car again since they have a remote entrance device. Any positive advice is appreciated just need some options that are alot closer to reasonable price ranges.
p.s. Is there anyway to have the remote signal access removed or reprogrammed
