Sorry so long..!
When my daughter was born he went and told the courts he wanted to pay child support, I told him thank you I'd appreciate that but I rather he just help me as he can, rather and fighting about child support when he doesnt pay it.
While we were at court the judge ordered him to pay $471 in child support a month, some of which would go towards his rearages. The judge ordered that i provide medical support for my daughter, I told him i was on ACCHS and he said since that was free and government funded I needed to get it through and actual insurance company or my employer, I tried to get on Kids Care, an insurance which you pay for but which is reduced and income based. The child support office told me i could not do so.
I work at a hospital and my insurance for my daughter and myself is $326 a month, $163 out of every check, it doesnt seem like much but it takes a big chunk out and its getting harder for me to pay my rent, how do I go about changing or even compromising this order? Its putting a financial strain on me, I no longer recieve ACCHS or Food stamps or any government funding, I'm not a single mother living off welfare and i'm doing great for myself, yet I still feel like i'm being punished by having to pay so much for insurance, that money could be going toward food and diapers. Please help!!
Thank you!
