alpha hydroxy acid face wash

I just bought this neutrogena face wash that contains AHA. What type of skin is AHA best for and for what ages? Because I'm 18 and my skin is not wrinkly or that pimple prone. I get pimples now and then but not alot. Should I consider using this face wash with AHA. Are there any limitations on what type of people or how old you have to be to use anything with AHA.
