I just got a touchscreen phone from my friend - the phone was the LG Chocolate Touch. I called the local Verizon store to see if I could put that phone on my prepaid Alltel plan. I was told that you can put Verizon and Alltel phones on Alltel plans, but you can't put an Alltel phone on a Verizon plan...or something like that.
Anyhow, I went to put the phone on my plan today...and it didn't work. Apparently the Chocolate Touch doesn't work with Alltel plans for some reason - it has to do with what it was made for, when it came out. To make a long story short, I was ticked and wondered what to do.
I still want my Alltel plan, and I want a touchscreen phone. (Alltel has MUCH cheaper prepaid plans than Verizon!)
Is there a phone that Alltel made, that is touchscreen and will work with prepaid plans? I need a new phone soon, and would probably buy it off eBay or craigslist or something similar, unless I can find it cheap brand-new.
