My friend gave me a phone that was made for Alltel. I currently have verizon. Never had alltel. Can i activate the phone onto the verizon plan on myverizon? Or do I need to take it into a verizon store? I received it because my phone got damaged and doesn't fully work and she gave it to me to use til my upgrade in april. She never originally activated it because she had to have a phone replaced and by the time she got it in the mail she had already gotten a new verizon phone.
