Alltel motorola Q9c help!

Once i load PHM Registry Editor to the phone and edit the info, for some reason when i try and clear the alltel ip info to put in 10.3.0.41, it freezes when i get to the Al and will not let me go any further? I then have to take the battery out to restart...Any help would be greatly appreciated..thanks
