ALLTEL flashed phones not receiving incoming calls....

I am having ALOT (20 today) customers coming back today saying they can not receive incoming calls, I flash the phone again, re-program phone, have cricKet re-set the account in the switch.... nothing helps. The phone does *228 and says successful... outgoing calls, outgoing and incoming text all works. Any ideas?

This is also not phone specific I have had Q's, Treos, LG, Motorola.... if it was an Alltel phone previously it will not receive incoming calls. (PRL flash only, full flash seems to be okay.)

Anyone else having this problem?

Wirelessly posted (LG enV: LGE-VX9900/1.0 UP.Browser/6.2.3.2 (GUI) MMP/2.0)

Omg gasp i am in the san diego area using 1050 prl and my phone is nt reciving calls it will recive and send text and pic messages and even go on the web but no calls i can call ppl but wen they call they hear a busy tone i have a fully flashed LG enV

outgoing fast busy tone means the switch is rejecting the call for some reason (not provisioned correctly, wrong min/mdn, wrong esn, etc..) what do incoming calls give you, it can help determine the source of the problem.

dont use the 1050 PRL in san diego. Either use the San Diego roaming PRL 5244 or 1041. 1050 doesn't work and theres no need to use it.

my env is getting calls just fine with 5244 prl.

This is happening in Tulsa, Fort Smith, and our Fayetteville locations and just started happening today, is cricket rejecting the 1040 prl now or something. any thoughts? and also seems to not be an Alltel flashed phone, seems to be all phones that have been flashed.

could be a network wide thing with the 1040 prl rejection? you'd think others besides just flashed phones would have this problem. general consumers rarely do *228.

can they even detect what prl you are using? if they could wouldn't they just force an update when you tried to place a call rather than rejecting it?

and with regarRAB to people with old prl's... yeah i still get people in here with prl's as old as 1030 sometimes...

edit: although i've seen quite a few things that the lay person would think wouldn't matter actually cause problems...

Any luck with anyone finding out anything yet? I have a customer here again today and said that the problem just started for him this morning. No incoming calls, everything else works great. He has an Alltel LG. PRL was 1041 and I *228 the phone and it OTAP just fine and when I checked the PRL the second time it was 1042

PROBLEM FIXED:

Well this morning some frienRAB of mine at cricket let me know that the problem was in the towers, something about cricket towers/system not recognizing NON-cricket hanRABets. The problem has been fixed now and to get the users hanRABet working properly again they need to visit a cricket corp. store and have their nuraber reset in the "switch"

That's it. Problem solved.

Cheers!

I am having a model specific problem. All my flashed Samsung A950's are having this problem. I have flashed Blackberrys, Sanyos, etc today and incoming worked fine, but not on the a950. Freaking out here.
