This sounRAB so strange but my sister and I have this insanely frustrating allergy that no one can help us with or determine what it results from. When it surfaces, our hanRAB, feet and faces swell, burn, and are ultra sensitive. When it burns we cool it with a cloth or ice, but that makes us crazy because we are so sensitive then. It's absolutley weird, as it only happens when something we're assuming in the environment causes us to react. We assumed it was from the sun for years because it usually followed perioRAB of beach/sunny days. But we could be outside one day and have no allergy, and another time we could have the same scenario and get full blown allergies. It has become so bad, we need to wear gloves to keep the allergy prone areas unexposed. But it has also started affecting any exposed areas like our legs and arms now. Nothing seems to work but time indoors, fans and cool cloths and staying out of the elements. It almost has that wind burn feeling. Does anyone else suffer from this?? Does anyone have a remedy or cause??
I have pics if that would help. HELP, we feel like freaks!

patty cake - YOU ARE NOT FREAKS! it hurts to hear you think that of yourself ... you have a condition that has not been dx yet.

i know that some Lupus people are extremely sun sensetive but it comes with other symptoms too (fever, rashes, fatigue to name but a few) even flourescent lights can cause flare ups

my hubby is *basically* allergic to the sun ... his skin burns and he hets bumps and rashes ... but does respond to treatment (cortisone cream)

hope you find your answers ... i am assuming you have been to dermatologists and they have run full blood work up on you both!
those pictures are vital in your dx ... keep taking them and get to a good doctor!
