Allergy shots today and tonight reaction after a margarita

I had my allergy shots (3 of them today) after missing a week. We kept the dose the same. My arms have some welts. That is pretty common with me. But tonight I had a margarita just a few hours later. I only drank half of it and my face was red and hot, splotchy...and my chest turn red and itchy as well as my back and neck. Then parts of my body were itchy. Is this an allergic reaction to the alcohol? or having alcohol after a shot? It is concerning me. I will take some benadryl now. But has anyone had this happen? Thanks ahead of time for a response.

It's probably purely coincidental. Do oyu take an antihistamine before you get your shots?

You might have a slight sensitivity to alcohol that was brought out by your body's reactions to the shots. If you're getting welts on your arm after the shots you've got to be really careful. That means you're getting more than your body can tolerate. You might want to see if you can lower your doses for a little while until your body adjusts. I only warn you of this because I had this happen and it ended up causing me about eight months of serious problems with PVC's and too much adrenaline in my system. That's not a very common thing, but it can happen. I wouldn't wish that hell on anyone.
