allergy due to paints, chalk etc for a child

is there a possibility of kid getting skin allergies by touching color paints, artwork material etc. The skin gets red dots across the various parts of the body and flattens out. The reactions in the skin disappear within 5 to 6 hours. Not sure of the cause of this. could be color paints, chalk, color pencils. etc...
 
Certainly it's possible. Lots of people are allergic to the dyes.
Talk to your pediatrician about whether the child neeRAB to see a pediatric allergist.
